Q1: Should I wait to hire an OWI lawyer until something somes up, or should I have a professional relationship with an attorney before I need one?

It’s always good to know of an attorney that’s skilled in their area of law and you can trust, but you don’t necessarily need to have one prior to a problem coming up.

Q2: How much does it cost to hire an attorney?

It really depends on the skill level of the attorney, the experience, and the type of problem as wella s the complexity of the facts.

Q3: What questions should I ask an attorney whom I'm considering hiring?

You want to make sure that that attorney is very competent in the field for which you’re going to see him or her. You want to be able to establish a rapport with that person and ultimately you have to know and trust that that individual is going to do a good job for you.

Q4: What materials, if any, should I bring to my free consultation?

You want to bring any paperwork that you've received. So if you've received tickets or citations or a criminal complaint or a document from another attorney indicating that you may be the subject of a lawsuit, you want to bring all that kind of paperwork in.
